Yesterday, Bashar Al-Assad, or as I would call it dog-poop athad to indicate my infinite contempt to this entity, was placed at the top of war criminals list that was handed to the International Criminal Court. While the dynamics on the ground in the region do not assure anyone that this “ass-hole” will at any time soon face the court, it would be a great fantastic day when a judge would tell it to suck an egg, eat shit, or just simply go fuck itself and stop its blathering sophistry.
Many Syrians dream of that day. Most, however, have much more than court on their mind, their plans for dog-poop include impaling and other forms of “reciprocation” they believe would be the minimum standard for punishing the asshole. I recall one hyper “assad is popular” menhebbakji who would use what I wrote above to masturbate its smart-ass (half truth here) brain, into a climatic tantrum of deceitful and ugly sophistry, mixed with and fake sectarian indignation about how hateful this rat is. But you know, I don’t give a rat’s ass about this kind of creatures any more. The Syrians waiting to see the asshole assad impaled re not psychopaths, nor are they merely hateful (they should be), they just recognize that with that son of a bitch being alive, there is no future, not for Syria and not for the region. But they also have at hundreds of thousands of far more serious reasons to want to see the asshole assad impaled. Anytime someone tries to bring ISIS to equivocate for the asshole, my only answer would be similar to that of the imaginary Judge talking to the asshole assad “i,e. GFYS”. ISIS is an historical issue that needs to be dealt with, but it can only be dealt with after we get rid of the criminal rulers, after we return their sectarian thugs in hizbulla to their rightful places in jail for their crimes, and after Iran is fully neutered as a source of evil and of terrorism in the region. If Obama does not understand this, then he is welcomed to meet my foul mouthed judge.

A song for Syria.
Our goal is to express solidarity towards those who are struggling for freedom, health, and safety in Syria. Syria is the country where 18,000 civilians have signed up to be volunteer first responders to rescue people from daily barrel bomb attacks, where doctors risk their lives in underground field hospitals to save patients from chemical weapons, and where people play music on piano as the government starves their neighborhood in austere siege policies. We hope to at least share the story of Syrian heroes while sending positivity and love to the children, mothers, and fathers, who have to fight for basic human rights. These people are #MoreThanFaces, and this is a humble contribution to them. If you like the video, we hope you share it to raise awareness on Syria and show solidarity with the Syrians.

إحصائية ليست بالجديدة بقدر ما هي صادمة للموالي قبل المعارض، لما فيها من إشارات على كم التآكل الذي تعاني منه بيئة النظام الطائفية التي مثلت خزانه البشري على مدار سنوات حكمه الخمسة والأربعين.
صحف بريطانية، أكدت أن ثلث أبناء الطائفة العلوية القادرين على حمل السلاح إما قتلوا أو أنهم اصيبوا بعاهات مستديمة تمنعهم من العودة إلى القتال، ما أحدث تململا لدى العلويين من خسائرهم الفادحة، وارتفاع عدد قتلاهم.
الأهم في ما حملته تقارير الصحف، هو إشارتها إلى أن القتلى والمصابين يمثلون الفئة العمرية المنجبة للنسل، ما يعني بشكل أو بآخر ووفقا لتلك الصحف أن عدم تخلي العلويين بشكل نهائي عن الأسد بات يهددهم بالانقراض خلال الأعوام القادمة، خاصة وأن احصائيات دولية قدرت نسبة العلويين بما لا يتجاوز عشر سكان سوريا.
إحصائيات الصحف، دعمتها شهادات الناشطين على الأرض والذين أكدوا أن أكثر من 100 ألف علوي من أصل 300 ألف يقاتلون إلى جانب النظام، قتلوا خلال المعارك، وهو الرقم الذي يمثل نسبة 25 بالمئة من إجمالي ذكور الطائفة بما فيهم الاطفال والعجائز غير القادرين على الإنجاب.
صحيفة ” التلغراف” البريطانية من جهتها لم تختلف في إحصائيتها عن الاحصائيات السابقة، حيث كشفت في آخر تقاريرها عن الوضع في سوريا، أن 30 شابا علويا يعودون يوميا إلى قراهم بالأكفان بعد أن قتلوا في معارك لم يعرفوا فيها لهم ناقة ولا جمل.
يبقى الصادم أكثر في حديث الصحف، أن عددا كبيرا من أبناء الطائفة القتلى لم يقتلوا برصاص الثوار وإنما برصاص الحرس الثوري الايراني الذي استقدمه النظام للدفاع عنه، والذي يتحول شيئا فشيئا الى قوة مستعبدة للعلويين أنفسهم حتى في الساحل لتصل انتهاكات عناصره المرتزقة بحق الطائفة إلى حد الاقصاء والتهميش ، وبعض الأحيان إلى الإعدام بتهمة التآمر كما حصل في اللواء 82 بدرعا مطلع العام الحالي.

A new TV satire program has become a hit in the Arab world by mocking some of the region’s most serious issues, from the intractable Sunni-Shiite divide and religious extremism to the brutality of militants like the Islamic State group.
The show, “Selfie,” has also brought a backlash. Islamic State group sympathizers have made death threats against its Saudi star and top writer on social media. One mainstream Saudi cleric denounced the show of heresy for mocking the country’s ultraconservative religious establishment. That has made it the buzz of the current Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which is the peak television viewing season in the Middle East.
Naser al-Qasabi, the series’ star, and its writer Khalaf al-Harbi told The Associated Press in their first interview with foreign media that they expected the backlash, but weren’t prepared for the popularity. It’s one of the top shows on MBC, the privately owned Saudi network that airs it, and has been the talk of the Gulf press.
Al-Qasabi says the series’ dark humour reveals just how tragic the situation across the Middle East has become.
“What’s coming is darker,” he said. “Maybe I am a bit pessimistic, and I hope that I am wrong, but I don’t think I am.”
In one of the show’s episodes, al-Qasabi plays a would-be “caliph” starting his own Islamic State group-style militia, but he’s surrounded by buffoons and hypocrites. His “mufti,” or top cleric, never finished school. He struggles to find ways to differentiate his group — his group’s flag is the same as IS’s notorious banner but with the black and white colours flipped. When one of his cronies boasts of plans for a mass beheading, the “caliph” complains that he wants a new form of execution.
“Behead, behead, behead. That’s all you got?” he groans, before suggesting the captives be put in a freezer. It’s particularly bitter humour, given the increasingly grisly ways IS has used to kill its captives.
In the show’s most popular skit, al-Qasabi plays a Saudi father whose son has run off to join IS. He smuggles himself into Syria, pretends to be a jihadi joining IS and tries to convince his son to return home. It’s a more serious episode, showing his horror at IS “perversions” of Islam and at the group’s atrocities — and his torment as he tries to avoid committing atrocities himself in his disguise. But it has comic moments as well, as he fumbles his way through militant training and is chased around the bed by a militant bride who is forced on him by the group and who has dedicated her life to pleasing jihadis as a means of going to heaven.
Other, lower-budget Iraqi and Syrian TV shows have mocked IS and other militants. But “Selfie” stands out with its high production values — and the fact that it’s a show with Saudi actors on a Saudi network at times mocking attitudes on religion in the kingdom, where there is little tolerance for discussing the many taboos.
In one episode, two Saudi men meet at an airport in Europe and bond over their love of women, alcohol and hard partying. But, though neither is religious, their budding friendship takes a nosedive when they discover that one is Sunni and the other Shiite. They argue until airport security detains them. When police discover they are fighting over a split that happened 1,400 years ago, they send the two a mental hospital.
Another skit lampooned Saudi Arabia’s powerful ultraconservative religious establishment and its stance against music. That was the show that prompted cleric Saeed bin Mohammed bin Farwa to accuse al-Qasabi and MBC of heresy.
Columnist Hamad al-Majed also criticized the show in the Asharq al-Awsat newspaper, saying that in its attempt to ridicule extremism the series also disrespected Islamic traditions and made generalizations, especially about Saudi Arabia.
Al-Qasabi told the AP he views his acting career as his own form of “jihad” — which in Islam literally means any struggle in the path to God.
“Offering something positive that raises awareness of issues, I see this as jihad,” he said. “Jihad is that you raise your children well. Jihad is that you work and are on a path to doing things well. Jihad is that you are good at your work … Life is one great jihad.”
Al-Qasabi and al-Harbi are no strangers to controversy. They both worked on “Tash ma Tash”, a long-running comedy that ruffled feathers for its handling of sensitive issues in Saudi society.
Al-Harbi says he wanted to kick it up a notch with “Selfie.” He explained the title, saying the show is trying to give a snapshot of Arab society today.
“Selfie’s” biggest success, said al-Harbi, is in exposing how extremist groups manipulate religion. He said the show delivered that message to the Arab public more effectively than lectures or government-controlled newspapers.
“I felt this is a weapon that will reach the audience,” he said. “If it was just something comical, we would have focused on easy societal issues that aren’t dangerous and are guaranteed safe.”

What has been attributed to Jaish Al Esslam, was media confusion, it should be Jaish Al Fateh, accuracy is important, Jaish Al Isslam is headed by Zahran Alloush who is American puppet, US ordered him to pull out of the southern Storm, and pull the arms, that weakened the storm, US ordered all its allies to stop arming the Rebels so the Rebels are stopped from taking over Deraa, , Jaish Al Isslam is not helping the Rebels supporting Zabadani, , Zahran Alloush is standing idle, not doing anything

For 1,500 years, different religion, not only lived side by side in the Arab and Muslim world, they thrived.
When the first Islamic armies arrived from the Arabian Peninsula during the seventh century, the Assyrian Church of the East was sending missionaries to China, India and Mongolia. The shift from Christianity to Islam happened gradually. Much as the worship of Eastern cults largely gave way to Christianity, Christianity gave way to Islam. Under Islamic rule, Eastern Christians lived as protected people, dhimmi: They were subservient and had to pay the jizya, but were often allowed to observe practices forbidden by Islam, including eating pork and drinking alcohol. Muslim rulers tended to be more tolerant of minorities than their Christian counterparts, and for 1,500 years, different religions thrived side by side.

Today Aasad said he had to give up areas in Syria to concentrate about important areas, he also admitted that he has shortage of soldiers, and admitted that HA is helping him to withstand some defeats, today statement by Assad is clear , he is now beginning to face reality, he can not control all of Syria, the question how much he can control, ? If he loses Deraa, can he afford to keep Damascus?, would he be able to destroy Damascus just like he destroyed Homs and Aleppo? What will happen to the rest of Syria ? Who will control it? US is not going to allow Daesh to control that part of Syria, can the Druze maintain neutrality? Especially if the Rebels took over Deraa
The war will reach Damascus, sooner or later, Assad can not survive in the Alawi area, that is why Deraa is important to Assad, losing Deraa could mean the end of Assad, some predicted this May happen before the end of this year

One of the few uplifting experiences to be had in any Syrian context these days is to meet with young Syrian activists, as I recently did in Gaziantep, Turkey. A young lawyer said something striking: “This is not just a revolution against Bashar al-Assad. It is a revolution for self-government. Replacing Bashar with someone else issuing decrees from Damascus — even someone much better than Bashar — is not acceptable.”
From the beginning of the Syrian uprising, unarmed activists have formed, under the worst security conditions imaginable, local councils to provide governmental services to their neighbors. This is revolutionary. For 40 years the Assad family had concentrated in its own hands, in Damascus, the direct governing of all Syrians. Officials assigned to Syria’s outback were, at best, order-taking clerks. At worst they were active members of a clan-dominated police state and terror network. Unless Iran helps its client re-subjugate Syria, the days of Damascus-dominated governance are done.

By either directly or tacitly fostering the rise of ISIS, he’s taken international attention off his own violence to the point that the U.S. seemed on the verge, just a few months ago, of admitting he would stay in power. All the while, he’s continued to terrorize the people of Syria with barrel bombs and chemical weapons.
But for the first time in a long time, recent developments seem not so great for Assad. This week, rebel groups are pushing into the Sahl al-Ghab plain in northwest Syria, an area that, as Reuters puts it, is “crucial to the defense of the coastal mountains that are the heartland of Assad’s Alawite sect.” This follows fighting in May in which government forces lost most of northwestern Idlib province to fighters from the al-Qaida-linked Jabhat al-Nusra. Assad admitted on Sunday that his military is short on manpower and will have to pull back from some strategically important areas.
It’s also bad news for Assad that Turkey and the United States now seem to be on the same page when it comes to Syria.

Five years after the torturing of Deraa’s children, another of ASSad’s cousin commits a crime, in full daytime, in the Syrian city of Latakia. The victim was murdered in front of his wife and children.
The tale of two people with a shared history and a common dictatorship. The majority who supported the popular uprising at its onset and a minority who stood with tyranny against freedom. Those who were aspiring for dignity, justice and freedom for all Syrians and those who wanted status quo because of the crumbs the ASSadist Mafia were leaving them.
The two incidents sparked similar reaction from the population.
Who knows how far the second spark will go, and it could be a conspiracy. Maybe someone paid the dead colonel, 10,000 S.L. to anger Bashar’s cousin. Who knows!?

ماجرى في اللاذقية من تصفيات يقوم بها رموز نظام الاسد, وتجري ضدهم ايضا, جرى ويجري يوميا وليس هناك من جديد!! فما
تبقى لنظام الاسد وعائلته ينحصر في توجيه اللوم والاتهامات المتبادلة بين كوادر عائلية ورموز عسكرية, وفعاليات تجارية, وعائلات فقدت اباءها ومعيليها, ونساء ترملت وامهات ثكلت, واطفال تيتمت!!!!!
الكوارث التي لحقت بالطائفة العلوية, أدت إلى نتائج ماساوية على كل الصعد والمسارات!!! فالطائفة تكاد تندثر!! والطائفة تعاني من انهيار اقتصادي, وتفكك اجتماعي مطبق وشامل!!!

اذا الصراع في اللاذقية صراع على أفضلية المرور, وصراع حول افضلية ممارسةالدعارة, وصراع حول أفضلية رغيف الخبز, وصراع بين عائلات القتلى حول القتل ومسائل الاغتيالات, والتعويض للمقتولين, وعدم التعويض لغيرهم!!
أل الاسد, وكم كنا نعلنها ونكتبها وننطقها, هم الذين اطلقوا امتيازاتهم الى المستوى الذي مكنهم من امتلاك الرقاب والعباد والثروات والفروج والاجهزه التناسليه للطائفه في اللاذقية, وغيرها !!!
أل الاسد اليوم بعد ان توقفت معظم تجارتهم غير المشروعه.ونضبت مواردهم السوداء, استداروا على ثروات المواطنين من بنات هوى, ومن جميلات وزوجات وفتيات وطالبات, وحولوهن جميعا الى ملكية ريعيه, واقاموا الاف شبكات الدعاره, للمليشيات التي تقاتل معهم من منتسبي حزب نصرالله والافغان والباكستانيين والضباط النظاميين!! ومعظم هؤلاء العاهرات يتطوعن في جيش الدفاع “الوطني ذو الخصائص والمواصفات الامتاعية” ليخلو لهن تحقيق عائدات استنكاحيه, يعدن بها الى اسرهن !!!
هكذا أصبح الاقتصاد العائلي والريعي في عهد ال الاسد ! اقتصاد قائم على المكونات الجسدية, على اختلاف توضعها, على امتداد الجسد البشري!!
مافعله سليمان هلال الاسد لم يكن سوى حدث يومي يجري في مواقع وتشابكات كثيره!! ولم يأخذ ضجته هذه المرة الا لأن الضابط القتيل شبيح ايضا في المخابرات الجويه!!
انه ليس صراع نفوذ كما يتصور بعضهم! او ان له طبيعة سياسية أو له افاق مستقبلية!! انه صراع الافاعي, على التهام فرائسها! انه صراع الضباع لافتراس الكائنات الاضعف! انه صراع الثعالب لاقتناص الدجاج الذي يبيض!! انها نتائج الهزائم والرهانات الكارثية التي اتاها ال الاسد وجروا اليها طائفة كانت يوما ذات وجود وتوضع وشكل ما من اشكال الوجود والارتسام على خارطة هذا الوطن !!!!!!
كنا باستمرار نؤكد على ان مشكلة ال الاسد لاتكمن في راس النظام فقط , وهى تنتهي هناك في جميع الحالات, ولكن مشكلتهم انهم عائلة مارقه في طائفة اجتاحوها فاصبحت مارقه! ال الاسد اجتاحوا وطنا وجيشا !وفي يوم ما اجتاحوا امة في لبنان والعراق وفلسطين!!
الصراع في اللاذقيه ليس فيه ضحايا!! فليس هناك اي معنى او قيمة للتضحية او الاضحية او الضحية!! هناك صراع عناكب, وصراع حيتان, وصراع مهزومين!! كل واحد فيهم يعتبر “قضيته وجودية” ويجب ان يقتل الاخرون كي يبقى هو, قبل ان تنفذ كل الفرص, ويحين الرحيل!!!!! على هذه الخارطه دمروا سورية ارضاً وشعباً وحضارة واقتصاداً ومجتمعاً!! وعلى ذات الارضيه يجري ارتكاب كل التصفيات في اللاذقيه وطرطوس وقراهما!وعلى ذات القاعدة تحول استثمار الطائفة من الدم كبندقية للموت, وتصفية الاخر الوطني والمذهبي باخضاعه او تهجيره او قتله!! تحول الجهد الاساسي مع بروز علامات الهزيمة ونهاية المطاف, تحول الى الارتزاق والثروه ,عبر اجساد العلويات,نعم! أقولها مدويه! ان الطائفة تحولت من مشروع مليشيا وطائفة مارقة,تحولت اسدياً الى طائفة داعره, ليبقى افرادها على قيد الحياة,بعد ان قتل المعيل, ومات الكبير والأب والاخ!!!! صحيح اننا لانريد ان نرسم بيانات اجتماعيه وانسانيه بديله لمأساة حروب ال الاسد ونتائجها الكارثيه في طائفة او محافظه!!! فالكارثة اساساً كارثة وطن سوري, وشعب سوري, وجغرافيه سوريه!!!!!! ولكنها في المقلب الاخر ارتدت لتكون كارثة اخلاقية اقتصادية اجتماعية عند الطرف الاخر, الذي اوصلته نتائج هذه الحرب على الشعب السوري, واستخدامه اداة فيها, اوصلته الى ان يقتل على “حق”المرور ,”وحق”ممارسة الرقيق, وحق “الرغيف”وحق “الادعاء بحق التعويض لمن قتل من أجل ال الاسد!
قتل من اجل عائلة سيكتب التاريخ وتشهد كتب التوثيق!!!! أنها عائلة دمرت وطناً وطائفة وشعباً, لتجتاحها موجات الجراد والافاعي والعقارب والزواحف, بأشكال بشرية لتفترس اجساد من تبقى من الاسر التي فقدت معيلها وابنها وابيها, فجاءت الزواحف الاسدية لتفترس ماتبقى من هذه الاسر نكاحاً ودعارة ورقيقاً,لتفيض ثرواتهم من فروج نساء طائفتهم, بعد ان فاضت من عمولات السلاح, واقتلاع الاثار وسفن التهريب ومافيات المخدرات والسلاح وتبديل العملات, وعائدات مشاركة اصحاب الفعاليات بما يملكون, أضف مابنوه واستثمروه خمس وعشرون سنة لحوالي عشرياً مرفأ غير شرعي بنوه على امتداد الشاطئ السوري لتصدير واستيراد تجارتهم, ولن انسى ان اذكر المليارات التي جمعوها من خلال عمولات توظيف أو نقل أو ترفيع الموظفين المدنيين والضباط ونقلهم وترقيتهم وتأمين الاجازات واذون السفر عسكريا ومدنيا! واكثرها اثراء كان الأحتكار والاستيلاء على امدادات الجيش من المؤن والاغذيه والالبسة, واخيرا افتتاح كليات ومعاهد المواخير, وانشاء جيوش وميليشيات الدعاره!!!
أنا حزين على كل مكون مدني مواطن في وطني! انا مفجوع على كل ماجرى من الشمال الى الجنوب السوري, ومن الشرق الى الغرب, ولكن حزني على طائفة تموت,تنتحر,تذبل,تزول,تندثر وهى في المضاجع, أو في مواقع الاقتتال والتدمير, وفي رهانات عبثية انتهت بها الى المجهول والمعلوم!!!! انهم بشر,عشت بينهم,ومن مواليدهم,وورثت الكثير والباقي في ذاكرتي من فنونهم الشعبية المندثره,وحكاياهم وجوعهم, وشظف عيشهم, ان عنصرا هاما من ذاكرتي تشكل وترعرع هناك بين وديانهم وزواريبهم,لن انساه!!!
حزني ,دموعي ,كارثتي ,على انسان,هناك, يدفن وهو حي,اإنسان يموت وهو على قيد الحياة!! انهم ناسي واهلي, قبل وبعد ان يسقطوا وينسحقوا!!!! إنها الحرب الاخرى التي شنها ال الاسد, وكان مواطنون من هناك ,طائفة,مكون ديمغرافي أصيل, من شعب اصيل, كانوا وقود تلك الحر الهمجية المجنونه التي سار بها أل الاسد عكس حقائق الوطنية والوجود والقيم والقوانين الطبيعية والسياسية, في غير اتجاه, وتناغموا مع غير قضايا الانسان والاوطان!!! فكانت الكارثة والمأساة!!

How true and how fast we forget!
For decades, Tehran was able to build influence and alliances in the region beyond the sectarian prism. Some of those alliances were often counterintuitive, such as the close ties with Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood in general. Other examples include the deep links with Syria’s religious establishments in Damascus and Aleppo, and so-called leftists and anti-imperialists throughout the region. More importantly, the brief alliance in 2006 with Qatar to rival the regional bloc led by Saudi Arabia provided Iran with huge strategic potential.
That legacy led Iran to boldly embrace the Arab uprisings in 2011. It labelled them as Islamic awakenings akin to its 1979 Islamic revolution, and it promptly reached out to the burgeoning forces of change. The uprisings presented a rare opportunity for Iran to enter the region after a decade of resistance by many of the Arab world’s traditional regimes.

they are talking about meeting between King Salman of KSA and Bashar in Egypt, this is going on after Ali Mamlook met Ibn Salman in Jeddeh, and after meeting with Lavrov and Al Jubayr in Moscow, who insisted that Bashar has no role in Syria, and we heared re activation of Deraa battle, today we hear there is going to be a truce in Zabadani, and Fawaa, and Jawad Zareef visit Damascus
There may be a deal in progress, but that would effect the southern front, the Fateh army in the north has little to do with KSA
Any agreement will include Assad departure, it is not possible for KSA agrees that Assad stay , and AlJubayr insists on Assad departure, I doubt Assad will agree, unless he is allowed to stay in Syria, like Ali Saleh in Yemen, my conclusion that this deal may not succeed, unless Iran is guaranteed the survival of HA, then Iran may abandon Assad, , Russia is talking about a transitional government with Arab League forces, may be Egypt will send troops, while Assad stays in the northwest as governor there
It is so complicated, the result will not solve the Syrian problem

As Dr. Goh Keng Swee would say to me, “Kishore, no matter what problem Singapore encounters, somebody, somewhere, has solved it. Let us copy the solution and adapt it to Singapore.” Copying best practices is something any country can do. However, implementing “Honesty” is the hardest thing to do. Corruption is the single biggest reason why most Third World countries have failed. The greatest strength of Singapore’s founding fathers was that they were ruthlessly honest. It also helped that they were exceptionally shrewd and cunning.

Which front is more important for the Rebels? Ghab front and Fawa front?, I believe Fawaa front is more important, Rebels have arming problem, while Assad has soldiers shortage problem, Rebels are not United , we have called to unite the Rebels for long time but they still not working under one leadership, this is benefiting Assad, people are always stand behind the victor, it is important to achieve victory, unity will achieve victory

Not enough evidence, The family of the victim revealed that the government asking the family of Al Sheikh to drop charges, and Bashar will get someone to admit to the crime, Bashar is afraid to punish his cousin
The second story is about Douma Massacre, the number of dead now reached 180, , in Charlie Abdu two died , it received condemnation from all over the world , in Douma two hundred died and no one talk about it

Plan A for Assad failed, plan A was to defeat the revolution, plan B is to have a mini state of Alawistan, plan C is to have what he termed as useful Syria, this is il defined border include Damascus and Homs and northwest Syria, plan D is to leave Syria and accept defeat
Plan A failed, the question , can Assad keep Damascus, it will be vey costly for him , financially and he lacks the troop to do that, and the international pressure will continue, the war certainly will continue, plan B means he will have much smaller army,I. Doubt will reach hundred thousand, and he will become less influential in Lebanon, he may lose his influence all togather, this means a major retreat to HA, and further plan B means he will become unuseful to Iran, Damascus is more important to Iran than Lebanonfinally Turkey will not accept Alawi state just like Turkey will not allow Kurdish state

Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila is hoping to set an example for his countrymen by opening his own spare house to refugees.
Sipila said Saturday that after some discussions and consultation with local authorities, he and his wife decided to make their house in Kempele, a town of about 17,000 in central Finland, available as of Jan. 1. The Sipilas have not used the house since moving to Helsinki.
“We all should think what we can do ourselves,” he told Finnish television channel MTV.
In recent weeks, the Nordic country has seen an increase in the number of asylum seekers — people fleeing poverty and conflict in eastern European countries and the Middle East — coming to Finland via Sweden. Officials expect their number could reach 30,000 by the end of the year, compared to the 3,600 people who sought asylum in Finland in 2014.
“It is easy to outsource everything to the society. Still, society has limited possibilities. The more citizen activity we can find to this matter, the better,” he said. An asylum seeker “deserves a human treatment and genuine welcome greeting from us Finns.”
“I ask everybody to stop all hate speech and concentrate on taking care of people that are fleeing from war zone, so that they feel safe and welcome here in Finland,”

They say reporters shouldn’t try to make themselves part of the story, but perhaps someone should have told the camera crews.
A photographer, reportedly working for Hungarian news station N1TV, was caught on camera tripping a Syrian refugee who was trying to escape from the police in the village of Röszke. The refugee was carrying a child at the time.
Another journalist on the scene in Hungary indicated that N1TV told him on Facebook that the camerawoman, identified as Petra László, would be fired.

Fellow Haaretz columnist Ari Shavit, loves the State of Israel; I used to love an Israel too, the fellow by that name who used to fix the shutters at my grandfather’s place. It’s possible of course to also love a country or a people, even when it is automatically, blindly, and unconditionally. But it’s dangerous to turn it into an ideology. And worse still it’s dangerous to preach that kind of love – “So it should be in Israel, too”, commands Shavit. “The critics must stop being arrogant and acidic and dripping evil.”[1] (Only Love Can Win the Battle for Israel as We Know It, Haaretz 17 September).
I too was “was born here, became who I am here and it’s here that I will die”, as he puts it. I would too love to cosy up to the sweet and rosy fairy floss known as the “love of Israel”. It’s a state with so many remarkable achievements, which I’d never know how to promote as well as Shavit does. But when something is rotten at the base, only an acid can sanitise it. All the innovations from drip irrigation to high tech, the gay friendliness and the talent, which no one is better in selling than him (mainly to American Jews, “lovers of Israel”) – When something rotten at the base, it is impossible to counter it with love. When something is rotten at the base, then — to paraphrase Proverbs 13, 24 – it’s actually those who love blindly who the real haters.
Loving Israel as it is today, also means loving racism and nationalism and violence and deprivation and evil. It’s impossible to love that. Loving Israel today also means loving the state that hosts the Myanmar dictatorship’s Chief of Staff of the and expels the refugees from the Eritrean dictatorship; it’s loving a state which looks for new ways to allow snipers to take pot shots at children throwing stones, and re-arrests a deathly ill person as he leaves hospital, having recovered from a courageous hunger strike. It’s loving a state which manufactures fear and furnishes evil, its two flagship products. Anyone who claims that they love Israel, has a hand in all this. A true lover of Israel cannot anoint it with the olive oil of “love”. Even patriotic kitsch has its limits.
What is love? Why should we love all costs? Is it possible to love someone just because they sing beautifully? They’re well-spoken? Dance beautifully? And what about morality? And what should we called the love which doesn’t see darkness? I love the Israeli versions of marshmallow treats, soup niblets and toasted pasta, they are all so Israeli. And I love Meir Banai’s music. But I also love Said, the taxi driver from Gaza whose cab was bombed by Israel. And Maria, the wunderkind whose almost entire family was wiped out by an air force missile. She’s paralysed from the neck down for the rest of her life. Her father caring for her day and night. And Jamal, a noble man from the Jenin Refugee Camp, who lost considerable part of his family but never lost his in stature. I loved the beautiful Fatma who died from cancer because she couldn’t make it from Gaza to hospital for treatment. And above all I love Emad, the impressive intellectual, the administrative detainee who had been exiled to Europe. Those who love them, cannot love those who inflicted it on them.
And I also love many things in Israel, and I want to love them more, but for that you need to close your eyes and block your heart to lie, to suppress, to deceive and to enlist in the Israeli propaganda service, which preaches “the love of Israel “.

The occupation essentially is a system of discipline and control of millions of disenfranchised people by a foreign army whose main task is to facilitate and protect a predatory programme of ongoing and illegal colonisation. This reality is ugly, and many westerners recoil from acknowledging it. But it is a fact. أعرف بشار الأسد، الرئيس السوري، منذ أن كان طالبًا في كلية لندن، وقضيت ساعات طويلة في التفاوض معه منذ توليه منصبه. كان ذلك في الغالب بناءً على طلب من حكومة الولايات المتحدة، خلال تلك الأوقات الكثيرة التي انسحب فيها سفراؤنا من دمشق بسبب الخلافات الدبلوماسية.

وساعد آخر قرار لروسيا بدعم نظام الأسد عبر الضربات الجوية والقوى العسكرية الأخرى على تفاقم القتال، ورفع مستوى التسلح، وقد يزيد ذلك من تدفق اللاجئين للدول المجاورة وأوروبا. وفي الوقت ذاته، ساعد القرار على توضيح الخيار بين العملية السياسية التي يكون لنظام الأسد دور فيها، والمزيد من الحرب التي يصبح «داعش» فيها تهديدًا أكبر على السلام العالمي. وفي ظل هذه البدائل الواضحة، قد تصوغ الدول الخمس المذكورة آنفًا اقتراحًا بالإجماع. لكن للأسف، لا تزال الاختلافات بين تلك الدول قائمة.
حددت إيران سلسلة من أربع نقاط قبل عدة أشهر، تتكون من: وقف إطلاق النار، وتشكيل حكومة وحدة، وإجراء إصلاحات دستورية، وإجراء انتخابات. ومن خلال العمل في مجلس الأمن التابع للأمم المتحدة، والاستفادة من اقتراح الدول الخمس، يمكن العثور على آلية لتنفيذ هذه الأهداف.
ويعتبر إشراك روسيا وإيران ضروريًا. وكان التنازل الوحيد للأسد خلال أربع سنوات من الحرب هو التخلي عن الأسلحة الكيماوية، ولم يفعل الأسد ذلك سوى تحت ضغط من روسيا وإيران. وبالمثل، قال إنه لن ينهي الحرب عن طريق قبول التنازلات المفروضة من قبل الغرب، لكن من المرجح أن يفعل ذلك إذا حثّه حلفاؤه على ذلك.

Ahmad Chalabi, the George W. Bush administration’s favorite Iraqi — at least until the U.S.-led coalition invaded Iraq in 2003 — has just died in Baghdad at age 71.
Chalabi’s “entrenched hatred and revenge-seeking, in my humble opinion, even at the expense of his country and his people, is a wholesome character of a traitor.”
For anyone who cared to ask at the time, Chalabi had an obvious motive to use the United States for his own ends. He had fled Iraq at age 14 in 1958, when the Hashemite monarchy was overthrown in a military coup. Imad Khadduri, who attended school with Chalabi from kindergarten onwards and later became a nuclear scientist, said today in an email: “I recall his father barging into our high school class at 9:15 a.m. with Father Sullivan, the principal of the Jesuit-run Baghdad College high school in Baghdad, and ordered Ahmed … to leave the class.” Khadduri now believes that Chalabi was driven by a deep desire for “exacting revenge” against the revolutionary regime of Abdul Karim Kassim, which confiscated his father’s considerable assets. “Ahmed exacted all of them back to him upon his return to Baghdad riding high on American tanks,” Khadduri wrote.
So certainly Iraqis (as well as Americans) legitimately have every reason to hate Chalabi. Soon after the invasion Glen Rangwala, a British academic, visited the new headquarters of the Iraqi National Congress — in what had been Uday Hussein’s Hunting Club in Baghdad. The best solution for. Syrian refugees is to create safe area, where refugees are placed there so they do not have to go to Europe, what happened in Paris will support this idea that Erdogan suggested long time ago, I believe it is coming, , president Holand will push for it while he visit Washington next week.
As for Vienna agreement, we in the opposition , in order to join talk with the regime and form a national government we have to have guarantees of safety once we go to Syria, we need assurance that Assad will not send his agents to assassinate us, we know he will deny that but his words are not enough , we need a. When you bring all these people together, as I say, in a neutral space, it does actually become quickly apparent that a shared sense of what it means to be Syrian can hold this vast spectrum together. Syrians are proud of their country’s long history, especially its vast array of sects and ethnicities. That’s why partition is such a red line for them all.
Islamists have so often told me stories of how they had Christian, Shia, Alawite, or Druze neighbors whose families had been close for generations; how their children walked to school together; their parents arranged big meals on the weekends; and how their religious differences were never of any relevance. That’s the Syria they all want to go back to, just with Assad out of the way. It’s our responsibility, as the international community, to help Syrians get there. It’s never going to be easy, but that doesn’t mean we should give up.

As Canada begins to welcome its first refugees, Mitch Potter reflects on the generosity that Syrians showed to him on his visits to their country.
Warm smiles and instant invitations to coffee and tea with every welcoming breath: that’s the limitless kindness Syrians offered to strangers a decade ago. The same was true a century earlier. And a good thousand years before that.
I saw it once with my own eyes. It was so amazing that I kept going back for more, burning through six visas to Syria in the nether years after the fall of Saddam Hussein and before the rise of the Islamic State group. I learned to despise the Assad regime, as most Syrians do. And I came to love Syrians, who are without a doubt the most welcoming people I’ve ever known.
That Canada is answering in kind today, as the first wave of war-ravaged Syrian souls spend their first night among us, is no less astonishing given the uproar to our south.
One of my D.C. contacts, Georgetown University security studies professor Paul Sullivan, emailed Thursday, both stunned and heartened, by the “amazing contrast on the treatment of refugees in your country — and in your paper.”
Sullivan is down there, after all, deafened as the Donald Trumpet of fear reaches a crescendo, awaking the likes of the Ku Klux Klan.

Syrians did not support religious sectarian sedition, the Ba’ath party called for one Umma,people, who has everlasting message, referring to Islamic message from Quraan.

An Ottawa’s children’s choir is gaining attention around the world for their performance. It’s become so popular, it’s now the unofficial anthem welcoming Syrian refugees to Canada. As Jacques Bourbeau explains, no one realized how many lives would be touched by one song.
The Christmas concert is performed by choirs from 10 French public schools from Ottawa and one school from Kingston. Filion said he has spent three years trying to find an Islamic song that he could include with the other diverse songs the choir performs.
It was a difficult task because, traditionally, Islamic group songs are not written for the same kind of choral arrangement, Filion explained.
He enlisted the help of Canadian composer Laura Hawley, who took the song “Tala’ al-Badru ‘Alayna,” and wrote it as a choral arrangement.
Amira Elghawaby from the National Council of Canadian Muslims attended the concert and said the song was beautiful to listen to.
“I think the song really exemplifies everything that Canada and Canadians hope to stand for, and that is a country that is welcoming of diversity, that celebrates that as a strength, that finds all these beautiful differences and actually amplifies them and makes them stronger as we find different ways and new Canadian ways of expressing them,” Elghawaby said.
“I think the outpouring of support and admiration from around the world really is testament to what Canada’s always stood for and is standing for now.”

We will never forget how many individuals labeled the ‘Noble Syria Uprising’ as ‘Sectarian Uprising’, a Sunni majority uprising against an Alawite minority. These individuals are as culpable as the murderous regime, they’re the enablers of the bloodletting in our midst. Also, we will never forget how the people of Salamiyah were at the forefront against Assad’s tyrannical rule. One of those people is Naji Jerf. May his soul rest in peace.
His activism annoyed the Syrian murderous regime and their enablers ISIS. Those who were lucky to flee Assad’s wrath, they were later captured or murdered by ISIS. They compliment one another. Father Paulo comes to mind and many others..

Do you really think there is “goodwill” to defeat ISIS?
As Father Nassar said, and every Syrian who followed the sadist regime in Syria are saying:
Why on earth no one shot at ISIS convoy when they ventured from Raqqa to Palmyra? To the contrary, Assad’s army withdrew from Palmyra moments before ISIS entered the city.
Same in Raqqa, Assad was busy killing his citizens and flattening their homes instead of taking down ISIS headquarter that was draped with ISIS flag. Clearly marked, no one can deny.
Military solution is for show and tell, much ado about nothing.
Members of ISIS can be easily plucked one by one in Syria, they are as foreign to the land as the Russians and the Iranians are. They have not an iota of support amongst Syrians.
Now, why is the procrastination in defeating this group, i still have no clue, i think many of us do not either. But, if the enablers of ISIS think that they can divide Syria, Iraq and the rest of the Arab speaking world into yet further states based on religion and ethnicity, they will fail miserably.
Our youth will not be stopped, the Arab Dawn does not belong to self-haters, it belongs to our future generations.

This gives ruling elites greater room to maneuver in the short-term but often at the cost of social cohesion in the long term. This dominant feature of the politics of weak states also suggests why “state actors are principal agents in identity mobilization and conflict in culturally plural societies, and the manner in which politics of identity unfolds in a weak state, is a product of the dialectic of state-society relations.”[7] Weak states, therefore, are more prone to sectarianism given that manipulating cleavages of identity is a dominant feature of their politics.[8]”

US said military solution is not going to happen, it is wishful thinking for Assad, I expect Putin will stop attacking next week, Russia can not attack KSA, They may attack the troops that KSA may send to Syria, but those will have anti aircraft missiles , and Putin have to calculate correctly before attacking KSA.

Next week is important in the history of Syrian Revolution , I do not believe that Russia will cease fire , KSA jets are in Turkey , along with several thousands of soldiers, in preparations for going in and liberate Syria from ISIS, this is a risky thing , confrontations with SAA and Russian jets are more likely , this is escalation , Russia will realize the bad situation they got themself in , long war , casualties , unpredictable cost, along with poor Russian economy , this is bound to caust suffering ,and Russians will complain against Putin , next week is serious week

Turkey is much more important to Russia than Syria, Turkey has the largest army in NATO, if Putin succeed in pulling Turkey out of NATO, it will be a great victory for Putin, US must keep Turkey in NATO, US failed to overthrow Erdogan, its policy toward Turkey now is to keep Turkey under constant stress, even that means that US will abandon the fight against ISIS, Putin may agree to abandon Assad if he can convince Erdogan to pull out of NATO, Erdogan is luring Putin with this carrot, that is Erdogan trick, and US could be making the biggest blunder,,,,,,, US must change its wrong policy toward Erdogan , and agree to partial expansion of Turkey in northern Syria and northern Iraq before it is too late
